Resilience Groups
Customers are organized into resilience groups across up to four persona types.
Cyber
Technical security professionals, such as SOC analysts, incident responders, threat hunters, and security engineers.
Developer
Those responsible for building and deploying applications securely, such as software engineers, DevOps, CloudOps, and AppSec teams.
Leadership
Cross-functional leaders, executives, and board members involved in crisis management and governance.
Workforce
Broad employee populations requiring security hygiene, data privacy, and guidance on securely adopting and building with AI.
Band Sizes
How it works
Select the band that fits the group size (e.g. ~45 users → ‘Up to 50’).
Recommended credits differ by group type. For example, Cyber bands ensure everyone can exercise technically at least once a year, while Leadership requires no technical exercising.
What is an Exercising Credit? One credit = one team exercised. Technical credits support up to 10 users per team; business credits have no user limit. Each band defaults to its recommended volume and has a minimum below which credits cannot be reduced.
| Band | Rec. Technical Ex. Credits | Rec. Business Ex. Credits |
|---|---|---|
| ↑ Recommended volumes. You can add more, or reduce where a lower minimum applies | ||
Expert-Led Services
Expert-led services are annual engagements delivered by the Immersive team, covering facilitated exercises, custom content builds, and strategic consulting. They are priced as individual annual add-ons, but presented as a single bundled price with the platform.
Tier inclusion
No services are bundled with either tier — every service is an add-on, on both Core and Advanced.

Translate to Salesforce
Once your quote is finalized, use the SFDC Translation tab to map it into Salesforce CPQ. The tab provides step-by-step instructions covering:
- Selecting the correct parent bundle SKU
- Entering sub-SKU quantities, list prices, discount percentages, and partner discount (if applicable)
- Copying a pre-built description block and audit block (with validation code) for RevOps
Important: Copy the generated text blocks directly into Salesforce. Do not edit them. RevOps will reject modified submissions.

Pricing & Deal Guidance
How is pricing calculated?
Prices output are a guide price based on the quote generated, and have a degree of volume-based discounting baked in; they are not a list price. More generous discounting is suggested as more groups or exercising credits are added.
Volume discounts are automatic and applied at the aggregated persona level, meaning all users of the same type (e.g. all Cyber users) are counted together across every group. This means splitting a large team into multiple groups has no pricing penalty. Credit pools (Technical and Business Exercising) also benefit from their own volume discount curves, applied to the total credits across all groups.
Price levels are set based on rates we have achieved historically. Immersive is a value-selling business, and therefore each deal should be priced according to the value delivered. While the breakdown is visible by product and group, always present a single aggregated price to the customer.
Note: If a deal involves a channel partner, set the Partner Margin in the global settings bar. The tool will show both Customer Price and Partner Price across the snapshot, quote preview, and SFDC Translation page.
Is this a customer facing tool?
No. This is an internal sales tool only. It is not designed, approved, or licensed for customer-facing use.
Do not screen-share the Package Builder or Summary with customers or partners. Use the outputs to inform your proposal, but deliver pricing through Salesforce only.
What am I able to adjust through the calculator?
Things you can adjust
- Types and size of each resilience group
- Exercising credits per group (provided this stays at or above the band minimum)
- Add-on services
- Customer tier
- Discount levels (the tool will provide guidance, but final discounting is controlled via Salesforce)
- Partner margin (%) for channel deals
Note: Overprovisioning for a customer is encouraged to drive adoption.
What is fixed?
- Band sizes are fixed, you should pick the next one up
- Each group band has a recommended credit volume and a hard minimum; credits cannot be reduced below the minimum
- Features cannot be moved between tiers on a customer by customer basis
- Resilience group types are fixed to keep the sales process and platform experience streamlined
Can this tool be used for upsells and renewals?
This tool was designed primarily for new prospects, but can also be used for existing customers. It should be used to select a suitable tier and identify groups, but any proposal (including pricing) should consider customer context and history.
Reach out to RevOps for assistance on how to use the new Salesforce SKUs to migrate an existing customer on upsell or renewal.
Note: Q2 focus will be on extending functionality to provide more guidance for transitioning current customers to the Immersive One packages.
How do multi-year deals work?
The calculator does not support adjusting term. This should instead be configured as normal via Salesforce.
How do I translate my quote into SFDC?
The SFDC Translation tab walks you through this step by step, but here's the high-level flow:
- Select the parent bundle: "Immersive One Core" or "Immersive One Advanced" in SFDC.
- Enter sub-SKU details: for each sub-SKU, set the quantity shown and apply the per-SKU discount percentage. If a partner margin is set, also enter the partner discount percentage on each line. Services are entered at list price with no discount.
- Paste the description and audit blocks: copy the generated text exactly as-is into the relevant SFDC fields. Do not edit it. The audit block includes a validation code with a tamper-detection checksum that RevOps uses to verify the quote.
Head to the SFDC Translation tab for the full guided walkthrough with copy-paste fields.
Scoping & Packaging
How do I choose between Core and Advanced?
Use the Tier Advisor in the Package Builder tab. It asks four quick questions and recommends a tier based on the customer's needs.
The key differentiators:
- Core: Role-specific labs, cyber range exercises, Dynamic Threat Range and crisis simulations, AI content editors and program builder, activity & completions reporting, benchmarking, API access, and MITRE ATT&CK + NIST NICE framework coverage. Services available as add-ons.
- Advanced: Everything in Core, plus AI agent resilience (Offensive AI Ranges, Developer AI Ranges, Agent Tuning and Agentic SOC Simulator), threat actor insights, IDP integration for AI Knowledge Pass, and MITRE ATLAS coverage.
If any single customer requirement points to Advanced, recommend Advanced. The tier applies platform-wide. You cannot mix Core and Advanced within one deal.
What are the four types of resilience group?
Each persona maps to a different customer team profile with its own user bands, credit allocation, and pricing:
- Cyber: SOC analysts, incident responders, security engineers. Receives role-specific labs, Technical Exercising and Business Exercising credits.
- Developer: DevSecOps and application security teams. Receives role-specific labs, Technical Exercising and Business Exercising credits. The minimum number of credits per group scales less aggressively than Cyber.
- Workforce: Broad organizational awareness populations. Receives role-specific labs (including AI), Business Exercising credits (no technical), and Workforce Exercising.
- Leadership: Executives, board members and crisis decision-makers. Receives Business Exercising credits only, plus supporting labs.
A single deal can include multiple persona types. Map each customer team to the closest persona that best fits their role and exercising needs. Throughout a contract we will monitor usage to ensure that a customer is on the most appropriate type of resilience group, e.g. if a developer is accessing cyber lab content.
What are the bands for each resilience group?
Each resilience group type has its own set of user bands with recommended credit allocations. Credits default to these values, and the calculator enforces a minimum floor per band.
| Band | Rec. Technical Ex. Credits | Rec. Business Ex. Credits |
|---|
How do I adjust the credits for a group?
In any group's credit settings, toggle from Auto to Manual. This lets you increase credits, or reduce them down to the band minimum.
Overprovisioning is actively encouraged. It drives platform stickiness and ensures customers have the capacity to exercise at the pace their maturity demands, not constrained by a formula estimate.
Toggling back to Auto will reset to the formula-derived value. Manual overrides are saved per group.
Can I reduce credits below the recommended volume?
Yes, within limits. Credits default to the recommended volume for the band, which is sized so every team in the group can exercise. In Manual mode you can reduce credits down to the band's minimum; the calculator will not go lower.
When a group is priced below the recommended volume, the credit input turns amber as a reminder that the customer may not be able to exercise their full group. Use this deliberately, for example under competitive pressure or where the customer plans a phased rollout.
Minimums are typically half the recommended volume, rounded up, never below 1 credit, and capped at 100 credits for the largest bands. The minimum is an exception for deals that need it, not a starting point; price to the recommended volume as standard. Where the recommended volume is already 1 credit, no reduction is possible.
What are Expert-Led Services and when should I add them?
Services are separate add-ons priced individually, but still presented as a single bundled price. They cover things like facilitated exercises, custom builds, and strategic consulting.
Consider adding services when the customer:
- Wants facilitated crisis simulations or technical range exercises run by Immersive experts.
- Needs bespoke content such as custom crisis scenarios, tailored learning programs, or role-specific paths.
- Requires consulting support including capability baselining, insight reporting, or integration work.
Services can be added on to any tier; none are bundled as standard. See the introduction page for details.
Each service has a maximum quantity cap enforced by the calculator. For quantities beyond the cap or custom-scoped services, contact the CRT.
How do I add Cyber Ranges?
Cyber Ranges are used to create custom Cyber Range Exercises. These require custom scoping and case-by-case pricing, based on the specific customer use-case. To add these to your deal, reach out to RevOps in the first instance, who will direct you accordingly.
Credits & Exercising
What is an Exercising Credit?
1 Credit = 1 Team Exercised.
The recommended number of users per team differs by exercise type:
- Technical Exercising Credits (Cyber Range Exercises / Dynamic Threat Range): Up to 10 users per team.
- Business Exercising Credits (Crisis Simulation): There is no user limit per team.
The number of credits a group needs depends on how they split into teams. For example, a group of 20 could run 2 teams of 10 (2 credits) or 4 teams of 5 (4 credits). The calculator estimates credits based on standard team sizes.
What are the differences between Technical, Business, and Workforce Exercising?
Technical Exercises are delivered through the Cyber Range Exercise and Dynamic Threat Range modules. They are for users playing through real-life incident scenarios.
Business Exercises are delivered through the Crisis Simulations module, testing decision-making.
Both technical and business exercises use a credits model, with 1 credit consumed per team exercised.
Workforce Exercises are separate from both of these. Members of a Workforce resilience group may be exercised as many times as desired via the Workforce Exercising module, with no credits consumed.
What happens to unused credits?
Credits expire at the end of the contract year and do not roll over. This is a use-it-or-lose-it model. Encourage customers to exercise regularly throughout the year to get the most value from their allocation.
How do auto calculations work?
The calculator estimates credits based on the chosen Frequency, the group's Persona, and its size. It uses the specific internal ratios below to recommend the right amount of credits for that group type.
You can enter a custom number of credits per group, as long as this is at or above the minimum for a group of that type and size (more detail below).
Technical Exercising limits are hard caps (10 users per team), whereas Business Exercising credits are estimates, so the number of credits needed may vary depending on participation.
What if a group exceeds the maximum band size?
Each persona type has a maximum group size band. If a customer needs more users than the largest band allows, split them into multiple groups of the same type.
Volume discounts are applied at the aggregated persona level, not per group, so splitting has no pricing disadvantage.
Example: A customer with 1,500 Cyber users can be scoped as two groups (1,000 + 500). The volume discount applies to the combined 1,500 users.
